The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has declared IBPS SO (Specialist Officer) notification for Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for the selection of personnel in specialist officer cadre positions. Aspiring candidates can start applying for the same on the official IBPS website – ibps.in from November 6, 2019. The IBPS SO examination is conducted for intake in the positions of IT Officer (Scale I), Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I), Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I), Law Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) and Marketing Officer (Scale I).
Steps For Applying IBPS SO Online:
- Visit the official website - ibps.in
- Click on the notification for online application
- Fill in your details in the fields provided and submit the application.
- Download the application and take a print out of the same for further reference.

Eligibility Criteria
- Aspiring candidates must be at least 20 years and not more than 30 years.
- Candidates should have the required educational qualifications for the respective posts.
Selection Process
The aspirants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the preliminary and main examinations.
Preliminary Exam Pattern
There will be 50 questions each from three sections – English (25 marks), Logical Reasoning (50 marks) and General Awareness (50 marks). The General Awareness section will have questions giving importance on the banking industry. The examination will be conducted in both English and Hindi.
