Oxford University Press India (OUPI) has developed a wellness curriculum to assist school-age children in "understanding emotions, building an active body, developing healthy relationships with people, and understanding the importance of ecological care."
'My Happiness and Me' is a set of eight activity workbooks created by OUPI and content partner Rangeet for students in grades 1-8. The OUPI series is consistent with the vision outlined in the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023, which emphasises the holistic development of learners.
The course teaches students how to cultivate healthy habits, distinguish between good and bad feelings, and equip them with the tools to deal with them.

A recent Oxford Impact Study has found that incorporating wellness curriculum in schools ensures that learner engagement is high, and they experience greater ‘success’. It lowers school dropout rates while increasing students' self-efficacy and self-esteem.
